I started working with a geriatrtic group of population living in long-term care home, retirement home, adult day program and the alternative level of care/acute care unit of the hospital as a Geriatric Recreation Specialist/Recreation Therapist as soon as I completed my diploma in Activation  Coordinator/Gerontology from George Brown College in Toronto, Canada in 2011. Also, I am going to complete post-graduate diploma in therapeutic recreation soon. In order to expand the horizon of my professional expertise as a Recreaton Therapist, I am going to work with  a group of children with a variety of disabilities in order to maximize their independence by promoting their physical and cognitive functionability applying a variety of therapeutic interventions, and as part of it, laughter yoga will be playing an effective role in it. In future, I want to spread the effectiveness and benefits of laughter yoga among my community people along with my allied team members, and for this, I am getting ready to become a certified laughter yoga teacher and leader by being trained by my reverend teacher, I always call Guruji, Dr. Madan Kataria. I am really very proud of being one of his students from Canada.
